"This recipe tastes just like Strawberry Creme candy from the early 2000s. Used Ryse Strawberry Shortcake Rolls protein powder and Fairlife milk for a creamy, low-calorie ice cream with optional Oreo Thins and fresh strawberries."

Ingredients

  • Ryse Strawberry Shortcake RollsRankedView on The Pint Lab →
    1 scoop
  • Fairlife 2% milk
    375g
  • Erythritol
    1 tbsp
  • Non-fat milk powder
    2 tsp
  • Vanilla extract
    1/8 tsp
  • Xanthan gum
    1/8 tsp heaping
  • Salt
    Pinch
  • Vegetable glycerin (optional)
    1/2 tsp
  • 2 vanilla Oreo Thins
    2
  • Fresh strawberries
    2

Instructions

  1. 1

Weigh 375g of Fairlife 2% milk directly into an empty Ninja Creami pint container.

  2. 2

Blend until smooth using an immersion blender — about 30 seconds. No lumps.

  3. 3

Freeze with the lid slightly ajar for at least 16 hours. Overnight is ideal.

  4. 4

Before spinning, run the container under hot tap water for 60–90 seconds, rotating it. This releases the ice buildup along the sides of the container so it gets incorporated into the spin — otherwise you can end up with a thin icy wall around the edges.

  5. 5

Spin on the Lite Ice Cream setting.

  6. 6

Add Oreos and strawberries. Mix-in if you like!
