Tier Verdict Β· Didn't Land

This powder hasn't impressed us in the Ninja Creami so far. Texture or flavor didn't quite land in the frozen base β€” but it may still be great in a shake or other uses.

The Review

I’ve watched Clean Simple Eats explode across social media over the last year, with every other fitness, lifestyle, or food influencer claiming it’s the the best. Naturally, I went in with high expectations for a classic flavor like Cookies n' Cream, but the reality was a stark reminder that popularity doesn't always equal performance in the Creami. From the very first spoonful, I was hit with a harsh, lingering aftertaste that completely overshadowed the cocoa and cream notes the flavor was supposed to offer. It’s one of those instances where I actually had to put the spoon down halfway through; the flavor profile was simply too artificial and aggressive to enjoy as a dessert.

Technically speaking, the powder isn't a total disaster, but it certainly doesn't justify the frenzy. The texture is perfectly fine, not standout, but not offensive, resulting in a pint that is neither particularly icy nor exceptionally velvety. It sits firmly in that middle-of-the-road territory where the macros are admittedly great, making it look fantastic on paper while falling flat on the palate. I’m holding out a tiny sliver of hope that I just ended up with a bad batch, so a second test is in the cards, but for now, this industry darling is a major disappointment.

Worth Exploring

Clean Simple Eats gets a lot of hype, but the results don’t really back it up. Across the sampler, most flavors come out muted and one-note, lacking the punch you want in a Creami pint. The flavors are okay, but it really depends which ones. If want solid macros, good brand. If you're really looking for more authentic ice cream, still yet to be proven here.

Would never buy this powder for the taste. Macro friendly only.
