Tier Verdict · Solid
A decent option for the Ninja Creami. Works well enough, but there are better choices in the rankings. Decent option if it's on sale.
The Review
After being genuinely impressed by Oath’s Blue Raspberry, I went into this Kiwi Strawberry test with high expectations. The previous clear protein experiment yielded a tangy, sherbet-like result that was incredibly pleasant, so I was curious to see if they could strike gold twice. There is always a bit of hesitation when mixing a clear, fruity protein powder with a milk base—it sounds like a recipe for a curdled disaster—but the actual results were way better than I anticipated. In fact, I didn't expect this to taste good at all, but it actually holds its own.
The star of the show here is the technical performance. The mouthfeel is clean and smooth, with absolutely no ice or lumps to be found. It processed beautifully in the machine, delivering a consistent, high-quality texture that matches the best powders in my rotation.
However, the flavor profile is where things get a bit complicated. Unlike the blue raspberry, which felt like a legit sherbet, this one tastes much more like frozen candy. There’s a noticeable artificiality to the kiwi-strawberry blend that makes it feel a bit "loud" on the palate rather than refreshing. It’s a bit odd eating a milky, fruit-candy pint, but if you can get past the slightly synthetic notes, it’s a weirdly addictive scoop that proves clear proteins have a legitimate seat at the table.
