The Review
Achieving an authentic strawberry flavor in protein powder, especially one with a brand-name affiliation like this, is usually a considerable challenge - the artificial taste can be so hard to avoid. However, RYSE's Strawberry Shortcake Rolls flavor manages to surpass expectations, delivering a profile that genuinely captures the essence of fresh strawberries without the typical overly sweetened characteristics. The flavor is almost nostalgia, reminding me of strawberry Creme Savers from the 90s and early 2000s! This was a delightful surprise.
The texture of this protein powder when prepared as ice cream is very good. It spins into a consistently smooth and creamy consistency, with no detectable ice shards or powdery grit. This is highly enjoyable, allowing the unique strawberry profile to shine without any textural distractions. This particular flavor offers a unique and satisfying alternative for those seeking a fruit-inspired protein pint.
The only downside to this powder is the artificial sweetener. This is a personal preference, however, if Sucralose does not bother you, this is an incredible option!
Pairs particularly well with Vanilla Oreo thins and fresh or frozen strawberries!

Whey Blend in the Creami
Whey blends combine multiple protein sources — often isolate and concentrate — to balance cost and performance. Results in the Creami depend heavily on the specific blend ratio and any added ingredients. Most whey blends perform well, though consistency can vary.
